Since 2011 LDI is involved in the Masud Parves Library Project, which is a non-profitable, non-political, voluntary, charitable, social, knowledge and information center for the people of Atulia union under Shyamnagar thana of Satkhira district, Bangladesh. Our organization believes that education is the cornerstone for a healthy and sustainable process of local development, and poor people from rural areas of Bangladesh need this project to be completed.
The objective of Masud Parves Library are:
- a) to facilitate access to educational logistics for students and information for all,
- b) to organize educational events,
- c) to organize training programs for students, youths and farmers for their skill development, and
- d) to provide shelter during the natural disaster and when necessary.
